Here are 5 tips to reduce your toxic load:

1. Use herbs that support the “detox organs” – your liver, kidney and colon. I suggest drinking these herbs in their natural state such as milk thistle tea, nettle tea and dandelion tea. I also like cilantro for cleansing metals out of my body.
2. I encourage skin brushing. You can use a towel or a loofa to brush the dead skin off your body. Your skin is your largest organ and by doing this daily you are supporting the excretion of toxicity and lessening the burden for your liver.
3. Eat organic whenever possible. There is a list called “the dirty dozen” and I have included the link below for your knowledge. Remember, pesticides lead to liver overload.
4. Reduce processed and packaged foods. These are all loaded with toxins and chemicals.
5. Replace household and personal products with products that are 100% natural and chemical-free.

Your organs deserve some love. Just like you love to be loved, so does you liver.

Do you want to utilize the energy of the spring to shed a few extra pounds or spring clean inside and out?

You probably think I have always lived a perfect health coach life, drinking green juices and eating chia seeds (if you don’t know what these are, you will find out soon) But I’ll be honest with you: I grew up eating white rice, bread and ice cream. It took time for me to figure out this whole clean eating thing and how food and mood are so connected.

For most of my life, I did not eat healthy at all and had a love/hate relationship with my body and food. Clean eating has changed my life in more ways than one.
I felt tired, was bloated most of the time, gained weight, and my skin was always dull. Eventually, I got fed up with looking and feeling this way. I knew I needed to make a change.
What I came to realize is that it was time to take care of me and my health.
